Vallair Industry Obtains A330neo Maintenance Certification

  • Vallair Industry, one of France’s leading MRO companies, is expanding its capabilities with the certification to perform Airbus A330neo base maintenance at its Châteauroux facility.

Châteauroux, June 23, 2026 — Already certified for maintenance on the A330ceo and A340-200/300/500/600, Vallair Industry is now completing its Airbus widebody service offering with A330neo certification, paving the way for the future and foreshadowing certification for the A350.

The growing adoption of the A330neo by airlines is increasing demand for qualified maintenance providers. With this new certification, Vallair Industry will be able to support scheduled heavy maintenance checks, structural inspections, modifications, and associated technical services for both the A330-800 and A330-900 at its Châteauroux facility.

The 8,500-square-meter Châteauroux site is dedicated to Airbus aircraft maintenance and can accommodate up to five A321-sized aircraft, or a combination of A330s and A321s. It offers a full range of maintenance services, including non-destructive testing (NDT), lease transitions, cabin refurbishment and reconfiguration, in addition to its aerostructure services, engine repair and teardown activities, logistics, parking, and storage solutions.

Vallair Industry: Supporting France’s Reindustrialization and Trade Balance

The A330neo certification strengthens Vallair Industry’s widebody aircraft maintenance business, which is entirely based in France, and further reinforces its contribution to the country’s reindustrialization efforts.

In addition, Vallair Industry serves a large number of international operators. By providing maintenance services performed in France for foreign customers, the company makes a positive contribution to France’s trade balance.

This new certification strengthens our position as a trusted maintenance partner for airlines operating modern widebody fleets, reinforces French industrial expertise, and consolidates the regional footprint of our activities.

In Châteauroux, we have recruited and trained an experienced team. Aircraft Academy, the Vallair Group’s training organization, which currently provides Structured On-the-Job Training (SOJT) for the A320, will soon extend this program to the A330neo in order to secure a pipeline of qualified aircraft maintenance technicians.

By developing a training center within our facilities, we are contributing to the reindustrialization of the region while maintaining cutting-edge aeronautical expertise in France.Grégoire Lebigot, President of Vallair Group
