SITA: Frank Jaffé to lead SITA Global Services

SITA: Frank Jaffé to lead the team responsible for keeping the aviation sector running

SITA has appointed Frank Jaffé as Senior Vice President of SITA Global Services, the team responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of airlines and airports worldwide.

GENEVA – 16 June 2026 – SITA’s 24/7 support service, relied upon by airlines, airports, governments, and passengers, is now being led by a new team focused on delivering an even faster and more reliable service. Frank Jaffé was appointed Senior Vice President of SITA Global Services (SGS), effective 1 June 2026.

SGS provides operational and support services that ensure the smooth functioning of SITA’s technologies for more than 2,500 customers worldwide. Its teams operate on the ground, in airports, and in offices across the globe, supported by 24/7 operational command centers located in Montreal, Singapore, and Cairo. When passengers move smoothly through a terminal, it is a sign that SGS is doing its job effectively.

SGS supports the smooth running of major global events, from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to the annual Hajj pilgrimage. The Hajj is one of the largest population movements in the world, and in 2025 SGS supported its customers throughout the event with round-the-clock hands-on assistance. All service commitments were met. The same operational playbook is now being applied to Hajj 2026 and the FIFA World Cup.

Our strength has never been a one-size-fits-all model deployed globally. It lies in experts who understand how your operations truly work, supported by tools and automated systems that allow them to act before an issue ever reaches a passenger. We bring this ground-level knowledge wherever you operate, and this is what our customers have always valued. Frank will further strengthen this capability,” said David Lavorel, CEO of SITA.

An experienced leader in large-scale service operations

With more than 25 years of international experience in global services, engineering, and operations, Frank has worked in environments where the continuity of technology services is critical. He joins SITA from Odigo, where, as Chief Operating Officer, he led a multi-site service organization and contributed to defining service strategy, operational performance, and customer satisfaction, in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.

“Technology only matters when it runs without interruption, and that requires far more than good software. It requires skilled people, supported by centralized and AI-optimized operations, working both in the field and behind the scenes, ready to act before an issue ever reaches a passenger. That is the essence of managed services: resilience customers can rely on, whether it is an ordinary Tuesday or the busiest day of the year. SITA Global Services provides that guarantee across more than 300 airports in over 100 countries,” said Frank Jaffé, Senior Vice President of SITA Global Services.

Frank has also held senior roles at Amadeus, including Vice President of Global Delivery Services, where he led a team of more than 900 people across 55 sites and improved service efficiency and quality. His experience also includes technical leadership, cloud and SaaS transformation, and the management of large-scale international change programs.

Frank will lead a team of more than 1,700 service professionals and field engineers and will be based in Geneva. He will focus on strengthening service quality, simplifying delivery, and better supporting customer growth.
