TCI Aircraft Interiors, Türksat and Neo Space Group (NSG) today announced the signing of a tri-party agreement to establish a collaborative framework for next-generation in-flight connectivity (IFC).
April 15, 2026 — The agreement brings together complementary capabilities across satellite capacity, multi-orbit connectivity and onboard systems, enabling the delivery of integrated IFC solutions for airlines.
The collaboration is primarily focused on supporting the Turkish aviation market, while establishing a framework that can be extended to additional airline programmes in other markets by combining GEO, MEO and future LEO satellite networks, the partners will deliver high-performance connectivity solutions designed to provide seamless global coverage and a consistent passenger experience across different routes and regions. As the primary System Integrator, TCI Aircraft Interiors will bridge the gap between space infrastructure and the aircraft cabin, ensuring that airlines are no longer tethered to a single orbit.
The framework is designed to support both commercial and business aviation, across line fit and retrofit programmes, offering flexible deployment models aligned with airline fleet strategies and operational requirements.
Leveraging a shared technical architecture and interoperable networks, the solution will enable high-throughput connectivity, with the first aircraft expected to enter into service from Q1 2027.
Within this framework:
- Türksat acts as lead contractor and prime, provides satellite capacity, ground and network HUB infrastructure and associated ISP services, satellite and system level monitoring.
- NSG delivers multi-orbit connectivity capabilities, including traffic management, routing and integration of satellite assets through its Skywaves platform.
- TCI Aircraft Interiors, acting as the primary System Integrator and “Architect of the Digital Cabin,” will bridge the gap between the space infrastructure and the aircraft cabin. TCI will deliver end-to-end digital solutions.
This collaboration enables a network-to-network integration model, allowing capacity and services to be dynamically combined across infrastructures and delivered seamlessly to aircraft, while maintaining clear operational responsibilities across all parties.
