Toulouse, 5 February 2026 Kinéis, a French satellite operator and European reference in satellite AIS, announces the signing of a strategic partnership with Lloyd’s List Intelligence, a global leader in maritime data and intelligence. This new collaboration marks a key milestone in Kinéis’ commercial development and confirms the relevance of its satellite AIS data stream, Kin’AIS, in a highly strategic and growing market. The AIS vessel tracking systems market is valued at USD 2.27 billion in 2025 and is estimated to reach USD 4.5 billion by 2035, representing a growth of 7.11%.
Through this agreement, Lloyd’s List Intelligence strengthens its maritime monitoring capabilities by integrating the Kin’AIS offering into its vessel tracking and analysis solutions. This partnership aims to provide maritime stakeholders with more robust global coverage, improved data resilience, and increased visibility, including in the most isolated or complex oceanic areas.
Strong Recognition of the Value of the Kin’AIS Data Stream
A few weeks after signing with data intelligence providers, this new partnership with an international reference in maritime data confirms the quality, reliability, and operational value of Kinéis’ AIS data. In a context of strong market consolidation in AIS and increasing requirements for monitoring, compliance, and risk management, AIS data has become a strategic asset for the entire maritime value chain: shipowners, charterers, insurers…
By leveraging Kinéis’ connectivity, Lloyd’s List Intelligence enhances the resilience of its data ecosystem and offers its clients expanded access to actionable AIS information for decision-making, risk analysis, and monitoring of maritime activities worldwide.
“To address the complexity of modern maritime trade, our clients need both in-depth analysis and extensive coverage. This partnership with Kinéis strengthens the fundamental AIS data on which our clients rely to achieve unparalleled global visibility. This collaboration enables us to continue leading the market in resilience and quality of maritime intelligence data. By integrating Kinéis’ satellite technology into our existing infrastructure, we offer a robust, multi-layered data ecosystem ensuring complete coverage, including in the world’s most remote maritime regions,” said Parvin Conners, Chief Data Officer at Lloyd’s List Intelligence.
Kinéis S-AIS, a Key Component of Global Maritime Surveillance
Since the launch of its services in June 2025, Kinéis has offered an S-AIS (Satellite AIS) solution designed to complement existing terrestrial infrastructures. Thanks to its constellation of nanosatellites and advanced reception technology, Kinéis enables the regular and reliable collection of AIS messages both on the high seas and in dense maritime areas.
Kin’AIS helps improve navigation safety, maritime traffic transparency, and the ability of public and private actors to monitor activities at sea, detect risky behavior, and optimize their operations.
“The partnership with Lloyd’s List Intelligence confirms the relevance and value of Kinéis’ satellite AIS data stream in a market that has become highly strategic. By enhancing access to reliable and resilient AIS data, including in the most complex areas, we are pleased to meet the new challenges of monitoring, riskmanagement, and decision-making that the sector faces today,” said Cécile Morel, Commercial Director of Kinéis.
