Dubreuil Group names Géry MORTREUX to lead aviation division

Dubreuil Group announces the appointment of Géry MORTREUX as head of its aviation division

Belleville-sur-Vie, June 9, 2026 — The Vendée-based Dubreuil Group, owner of Air Caraïbes and French bee, is evolving the organization of its aviation division within its diversified family-owned group.

Paul-Henri DUBREUIL, who had been overseeing the transition in governance of the aviation division for nearly 18 months, will now hand over the leadership of Air Caraïbes, Air Caraïbes Atlantique, French bee, and Hi Line Cargo to Géry MORTREUX on July 15.

Since January 2025, following the failure to implement a new governance structure for the aviation division, the Dubreuil Group had chosen not to immediately relaunch a recruitment process. Instead, Paul-Henri Dubreuil decided to personally take charge of managing this division and to run it in direct coordination with the airlines’ general managers. This period was considered necessary to restore a clear strategic direction and realign the commercial, operational, and strategic priorities of the airlines with the Dubreuil Group’s overall ambitions.

Today, this transition phase is coming to an end. Strategic directions are now clearly defined and the foundations for future development are in place. The Dubreuil Group is therefore ready to entrust the leadership of this division to a new executive who will fully and entirely dedicate themselves to the role: a division head who will also be committed to continuing the momentum already initiated to strengthen the competitiveness of its airlines.

It is therefore Géry MORTREUX who has been selected to lead the Dubreuil Group’s airlines. Géry MORTREUX is a highly respected French aviation professional, recognized for his expertise and leadership. He has extensive experience, particularly in operational and technical fields, from the very beginning of his career at Air Inter in 1989 as a maintenance engineer, up to his most recent position as Executive Vice President of Air France Industries — a role he held for 10 years.

Géry shares the values of our family-owned group,” said Paul-Henri DUBREUIL, Chairman and CEO of the Dubreuil Group, “simple values centered on commitment and hard work, on the importance of customer satisfaction within our organizations, as well as human values. He is a demanding manager but one who is recognized for his ability to listen and his proximity to the field. All of these qualities will, we are confident, make him a unifying leader appreciated by our teams.”

At just 60 years old, Géry MORTREUX is eager to take on this new professional challenge: “I am particularly happy and honored to join the teams of the Dubreuil Group’s aviation division. Throughout my career, I have always been driven by a passion for aviation, its professions, and the women and men who bring them to life every day. The Dubreuil Group has established itself as a recognized player for its entrepreneurial spirit, long-term commitment, and the quality of its teams. I am excited to contribute to this new stage of its development, alongside the employees of the aviation division. I fully understand the responsibility entrusted to me and I look forward to putting my experience at the service of the Group’s ambition, its customers, and its partners.

For his part, Paul-Henri DUBREUIL will continue to be involved in the aviation division, working closely with Géry MORTREUX, as he currently does with the leaders of the Group’s other businesses.
