Osaka, February 20, 2025 – Peach Aviation Limited (“Peach”; Representative Director and CEO: Kazunari Ohashi) has announced that it will launch the Osaka (Kansai) – Seoul (Gimpo) route starting from Thursday, April 10. Sales of the tickets will begin from 1:00pm today. Fares start at JPY 5,280 with no fuel surcharge.

Seoul Gimpo International Airport, which will inaugurate service, is an extremely convenient airport with access to downtown Seoul in about 25 minutes by train. After arriving in the afternoon, customers can immediately enjoy authentic Korean cuisine and enjoy the charm of the area to the fullest, and it is also very convenient for business use. In addition, when combined with the Osaka (Kansai) – Seoul (Incheon) route, which services 28 flights a week (4 round trips per day), customers have more options by allowing plenty of time to stay. Please enjoy a more accessible trip to Seoul, tailored to your needs.

The South Korea route was Peach’s first international flight from Osaka (Kansai) to Seoul (Incheon) which inaugurated service in May 2012. Currently, the number of flights serviced to Seoul per day is the highest* among Japanese airlines. Since inaugurating service in 2012, the cumulative number of passengers on the Korea route has reached approximately 5.8 million by the end of last year, making it one of Peach’s most popular international routes with many customers using it.

Additionally, this year marks the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea, a historic milestone, and Osaka is also scheduled to host the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan in April. Peach will continue to serve as a bridge between Asia, boosting the traffic between Japan and South Korea, contributing to the revitalization of relations between the two countries. The Osaka (Kansai) – Seoul (Gimpo) route will be increasing the number of flights to 14 flights per week (2 round trips per day) from Tuesday, August 26th.
