LONDON, UK – January 29, 2018 – Element has demonstrated its commitment to becoming the best and most trusted testing partner in the aerospace sector, with the addition of yet another Nadcap accreditation for destructive material testing at its Mulheim laboratory.

Element Mulheim now offers the broadest accredited Nadcap scope of any independent laboratory in Germany. The scope includes: room and elevated temperature tensile testing, impact testing, creep and stress rupture testing, hardness testing, metallographic examination and specimen preparation.

Rick Sluiters, EVP Aerospace, commented: “We are extremely proud to receive a Nadcap accreditation for our Mulheim laboratory because it validates our high standards in materials testing. This latest accreditation raises the number of the Group’s Nadcap accredited laboratories to 31, the highest of any independent materials testing company in the world, demonstrating our commitment to deliver certainty to the aerospace primes and all of their supply chain partners.”

Element Mulheim is a DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited materials laboratory that specializes in metallurgical materials testing, welding qualification and failure analysis services.
