The French aerospace industry is present at ILA Berlin 2024

From 5 to 9 June 2024, the French aerospace industry association, GIFAS, is hosting a delegation of 15 French companies at the ILA Berlin 2024 Airshow. The French companies exhibiting are prime contractors, equipment manufacturers, SMEs and maintenance specialists.

The air, space and defence companies exhibiting under the GIFAS banner within the French Pavilion are AD Industries / Motherson, Aerometals & Alloys, Aeroprotech, Bureau Véritas Exploitation, CetraC.io, CT Ingenieros, Cybermeca, Dedienne Aerospace Europe, Defontaine, Faure Herman, Hexcel, Satys Services Group, Spaleck Industries, Stacem and Win-MS.

Axon, Airbus, ArianeGroup, Hexcel, Lebronze Alloys, Liebherr Aerospace, MBDA, OEM Defence Services, Safran and Thales are present as well at the show. In cooperation with BDLI (Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie), GIFAS will organise a meeting between the French Aerospace and Defence Equipment Group (GEAD) and the BDLI “Equipment and Materials” Forum representatives on Thursday 6 June. The French Defence procurement agency, the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA), the French Space Agency (CNES) and the French Aerospace Lab (Onera) will also be present.

About GIFAS: The French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS) is an industry body that brings together some 470 companies ranging from main prime contractors and system suppliers to SMEs and startups. They form a cohesive, hard-driving high-technology sector specializing in the design, development, construction, marketing and maintenance of all aeronautical and space programmes and equipment, both civilian and military planes and defence and security systems.

GIFAS, an industry whose 2023 sales amounted to €70.2bn: 83% of its consolidated sales accounted for exports. It directly employs 210,000 people.

Every two years, GIFAS organizes the Paris-Le Bourget International Air Show, the world’s top event of its kind. The 55th Paris-Le Bourget Air Show will run from 16 to 22 June 2025
