DENVER, Dec. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Tempus Jets, an authorized Pilatus Sales and Service Center serving the southwest United States, is proud to announce it has been awarded a Part 145 Repair Station Certification by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA 145 Certification is a stringent review of maintenance controls and procedures. The certification demonstrates Tempus Jets’ competence with quality, safety, efficiency, training and technical capabilities.

The 145 Certification effort was spearheaded by Randall Brooks, the company’s Vice President of Maintenance and Technical Services. Reflecting on the project, Brooks said, “We listened to our customers’ feedback and took the certification a step further. By using best practices in business, maintenance trends, training and technology we have revamped our maintenance capabilities, software, and culture to focus on the highest levels of safety and customer satisfaction.”

Next, Tempus Jets will be rolling out a new Customer Service Portal to make maintenance scheduling, project status communication and work order approvals more efficient, improving turnaround time for customers.

Tempus Jets’ CEO, Jack Gulbin said, “This is an exciting time of growth for the company. We are expanding and adding to the team in Denver and Scottsdale in preparation for the release of the Pilatus PC-24 Super Versatile Jet (SVJ).”

The PC-24 is currently undergoing FAA Type Certification and is set for its first deliveries in early 2017. The 145 Repair Station Certification was the first step in upgrading the facility for servicing the complexities of the PC-24. “I am proud of the progress our maintenance department has made over the last eight months and we thank our customers for their valuable feedback that made this transition a big success.” Gulbin said. “We are looking forward to applying our greatly improved technical expertise of the PC-12 to our business model for the both the PC-12 and PC-24.”
