SATAIR AND CHINA EASTERN AIRLINES SIGN SUPPORT AGREEMENT

China International Import Expo, Shanghai, November 5 2022 – Satair, an Airbus Services company and world leader in the commercial aerospace aftermarket, and Eastern Airlines Technic Co., Ltd, have signed an agreement covering a selected scope of part numbers. The agreement will optimize Eastern Airlines Technic’s inventory by leveraging on the availability of local inventory in Satair’s Beijing warehouse, increasing the dispatch rate of materials and improving the asset turnover ratio to greater plannability ensure consistent operations in China Eastern Airlines’ fleet maintenance.

The agreement follows more than 20 years of the two companies doing business together and will bring improved support through committed service levels and local shipments from Satair’s Beijing facility in close proximity to China Eastern Airlines’ grounds of operation, thereby reducing lead-times

This is our first attempt to cooperate with Satair in the field of material inventory localization. We can make full use of Satair’s inventory resources, shorten the procurement cycle of materials, and ensure the operation of China Eastern’s fleet.”
