Osaka, February 1, 2023 – Today, Peach Aviation Limited (hereinafter referred to as Peach, CEO: Takeaki Mori) announced that starting March 27 it will start operating the Nagoya (Chubu) – Taipei (Taoyuan) route, Peach’s first international route at Nagoya (Chubu) Airport. Also, starting August 1, the Osaka (Kansai) – Kaohsiung route, which had been suspended for about three and a half years, will resume service. Tickets for both routes will go on sale today at 3:00 p.m. *1 Peach launched first launched service at Nagoya (Chubu) Airport in December 2020 and began operating four domestic routes: Sapporo (New-Chitose), Sendai, Okinawa (Naha), and Ishigaki. The newly announced Taipei route is Peach’s first international route from Nagoya (Chubu) Airport and will be operated seven times a week.

In addition, starting August 1, the Osaka (Kansai) – Kaohsiung route, which had been suspended since March 1, 2020, will resume service for the first time in three and a half years, with seven flights per week. There will be five international routes at Kansai Airport, including this route, bringing the total number of routes between Japan and Taiwan to six. The Osaka (Kansai) – Kaohsiung route will operate using the Airbus A321LR, which is equipped with a wider seat pitch and a USB port for charging as compared to the conventional Airbus A320ceo, allowing for a more relaxed and comfortable travel experience. *2

On the occasion of the launch and resumption of flights, Representative Director and CEO Takeaki Mori commented, “Peach, the bridge between Asia and Japan, will finally operate international flights from Nagoya (Chubu) Airport.
