Ukroboronprom and LeVanta Tech Partner on “Float-and-Fly” Amphibious Drone Concept

Written by AeroMorning on October 13, 2025

Ukrainian state defense company Ukroboronprom has signed a cooperation agreement with U.S.-based LeVanta Tech Inc. to develop a new “float-and-fly” drone concept capable of both flight and surface navigation.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, the partnership was presented during the DFNC3 defense forum. The initiative aims to design dual-mode unmanned systems — able to operate over water and in the air — offering a potential strategic advantage in the Black Sea theater.

Ukroboronprom also emphasized its interest in expanding local production capabilities and training Ukrainian specialists to support the program.

The collaboration highlights growing U.S.–Ukraine technological cooperation in advanced aerospace and defense innovation.
