Thai SmartLynx Airlines is set to make an entrance into Thailand’s aviation sector with the arrival of its first aircraft, an Airbus A320, expected by January 2025. The aircraft is currently in Bali undergoing an engine inspection to ensure it meets rigorous operational standards before entering service.

As part of its commitment to providing Thai airlines with flexible fleet support, Thai SmartLynx’s Airbus A320 introduction will allow the company to deliver tailored ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) solutions that meet the dynamic needs of the market. Backed by Avia Solutions Group, Thai SmartLynx aims to strengthen the local aviation landscape by offering airlines scalable leasing options to help local airlines to have capacity for growing demand peaks, expand their networks and services without the overhead and capital associated with new aircraft ownership as tourism in the country is expected add 5.5 million visitors in 2025.
