Shymkent Airport’s Terminal A Welcomes New SCAT Airlines Boeing 737 MAX
Shymkent, July 23, 2025 — Today, the newest Boeing 737 MAX aircraft operated by SCAT Airlines landed at Shymkent International Airport’s newly inaugurated Terminal A. This event marks a significant milestone in the development of the airport’s infrastructure and reinforces its status as Kazakhstan’s southern aviation hub.
The new airliner arrived in Kazakhstan following an acceptance procedure in the United States and has now joined SCAT Airlines’ modernized fleet. Its arrival is not only a landmark moment for the airline but also a testament to Terminal A’s readiness to accommodate state-of-the-art international-class aircraft.
