Satair Introduces Cargo Floor Panel Solution to Expand Semi-Finished Panel Portfolio
Copenhagen, Denmark, 26 August 2025 – Satair, an Airbus Services company and a recognised provider in the commercial aerospace aftermarket, has launched a new cargo floor panel solution, extending its Airbus Semi-Finished Floor Panel (ASFP) product range to support maintenance across both passenger and cargo areas of Airbus aircraft.
The newly introduced Cargo Robust panels have been developed in close collaboration with Airbus Engineering and materials supplier Schütz GmbH & Co. KGaA, building on the ASFP passenger solution first introduced in 2022. This expansion addresses a clear need among airlines and MROs for efficient, flexible, and significantly more durable and more robust panels than what is currently available in the market. The Cargo Robust panels were developed with a strong focus on operational resilience and long-term performance in demanding environments.
The ASFP panels are delivered in a semi-finished format, allowing operators and MROs to cut and drill the panels on-site to match specific requirements. This flexibility helps reduce downtime and cost compared to fully finished replacements. The use of high-performance polymer inserts and hard points also reduces the risk of corrosion in humid environments and supports consistency in installation across fleet types.
With the Cargo Robust variant, the ASFP range now supports floor panel repairs in seat, aisle, galley, and cargo zones across the A320 Family, A330, A340, A350, and A380 aircraft. All products are available through Satair’s global warehouse network, helping reduce lead times and improve availability for customers worldwide.
