Satair and Groth Luftfahrt & Systemtechnik Sign Multi-Year Exclusive Distribution Agreement
MRO Europe, London, 15 October 2025 – Satair, an Airbus Services company, has signed a multi-year exclusive distribution agreement with Groth Luftfahrt & Systemtechnik GmbH, a manufacturer specialising in the design and production of aircraft galley and lavatory equipment. Under the agreement, Satair will become the exclusive global distributor for Groth’s mechanical lavatory faucets for Airbus aircraft, including the A320 and A330 platforms.
This new agreement reinforces Satair’s commitment to supporting operators with high-quality, OEM-approved aftermarket solutions, while offering airlines a reliable, cost-effective, low-complexity upgrade path for their in-service fleets.
Thomas Lagaillarde, Vice President Product Management & Business Development at Satair, commented: “We are pleased to welcome Groth’s mechanical lavatory faucets into our product portfolio. This agreement not only enhances our cabin equipment offering but also strengthens our position in supporting Airbus operators with reliable, Illustrated Parts Catalogue-listed components that improve technical dispatch reliability and reduce total cost of ownership.”
The faucets are fully interchangeable with previously certified parts and will be listed in the Airbus Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), ensuring ease of integration into existing maintenance regimes. The products are designed to support both retrofits and in-service upgrades, helping airlines enhance passenger satisfaction while optimising aircraft utilisation.
Groth, a supplier of valves and faucets to in-production Airbus aircraft, brings extensive expertise in providing durable and lightweight components for the commercial aviation sector.
Lars Engelhardt, CEO of Groth Luftfahrt & Systemtechnik, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Satair to expand the global availability of our products. Satair’s vast distribution network, deep understanding of operators, and strong relationships with MROs worldwide make them an ideal partner to help bring our equipment to a broader market.”
With this agreement, airlines will benefit from improved sourcing flexibility, enhanced aftermarket support, and increased operational efficiency — all contributing to higher technical reliability and reduced lifecycle costs.
