Moove, iJet and Euroairlines Group join forces to tackle Empty Leg Optimization

Moove, iJet and Euroairlines Group join forces to tackle Empty Leg Optimization

French startup partners with airline distributor Euroairlines Group and Spanish operator iJet to optimize its capacity and distribution

Madrid, October 16, 2024. As business aviation aims to optimize its scheduled empty sectors, Moove, iJet and Euroairlines are launching a large-scale trial to optimize aircraft occupancy by adding the advantages of corporate flights to a new market. Seats are available on platforms such as Google Flights, Skyscanner or Booking.

This trial aims to reach a large audience of flights and optimize the environmental footprint of the business aviation sector as well as address the problem of empty legs with an innovative layout while offering a premium in-flight experience.

Moove co-founder and CEO, Arthur Ingles says: “With our centralized booking platform, we provide actionable solutions to operators to find suitable economic solutions for those very-hard-to-sell legs. We are very thankful to iJet & EuroAirlines joining forces with us and welcome any operator that wants to reduce its CO2 footprint on a per passenger basis”. iJet CCO, Diego Moser adds: “We are glad to offer our empty capacity to a new clientele looking for a more premium experience. They will discover that corporate jet aircraft are great productivity tools and this test aims to optimize our operations… and be a prelude to the future of air mobility”.

Euroairlines Group CEO, Antonio López-Lázaro says: “The Euroairlines Group is pleased to partner with two innovative companies and distribute new products across all channels. For OTAs, it will be a very attractive new offering for executive travelers. Once again, we are proving that we are breaking barriers in airline distribution”.
