Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has announced the appointment of Mike Tveit as Vice President and General Manager of Power Solutions. In this position, Tveit will be responsible for driving the continued growth and strategic direction of the business, which includes off-the-shelf and custom power conversion products for commercial aerospace, defense and space markets. Crane is an industry leader in power solutions with more than 50 years of experience and over one million products in service today.
Tveit’s experience with Crane spans 16 years in positions of increasing responsibilities. His prior roles include Operations Team Leader, Contracts and Customer Support Manager, Customer Account Manager and, most recent, OEM Sales Director.
Prior to Crane, Tveit held senior positions in Operations with Goodrich and was a Helicopter Platoon Leader in the U.S. Army. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Studies from the University of North Dakota.
