GKN Aerospace Engines Repair Solutions has achieved a series of significant milestones as part of the ongoing expansion of its global repair network. The business offers best-in-class repair solutions to the MRO market, with industry-leading turnaround times thanks to its technology and operational approach.

Expansion of Capabilities and Customer Base To support future growth, Leap-1A and Leap-1B Fan Blade repairs have been added to the capabilities list, and over 30 new customers have been added to the portfolio in the first half of 2024. Significant performance improvements have been achieved, including the elimination of backlog and a reduction in turnaround times by over 50%.

Johor Facility Milestone The newest facility in Johor, Malaysia, has reached an important milestone by delivering its 10,000th part. This achievement underscores the dedication and hard work of the team in ensuring top-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

San Diego Facility Nearing final stages of construction

A substantial investment in a state-of-the-art facility in San Diego, California, is nearing its final stages of construction. The opening ceremony is anticipated for the end of 2024. This facility will enhance the capacity to serve the MRO market with cutting-edge technology and expertise.
