EASA Launches Survey on the Effect of Socio-Economic Factors on Aviation Safety
As part of EASA’s mandate under Article 89 of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139, the Agency is required to monitor and report on socio-economic factors that affect aviation safety. In carrying out this task, EASA invites all pilots, cabin crew, and operational control personnel (OCC/dispatchers/ flight operations officers) across Europe to take part in the EASA Art.89 Survey “Mapping of Socio-Economic Factors on Safety in Aviation”
This important survey explores how working and employment conditions may influence the safety performance and wellbeing of aviation professionals in safety-critical roles.

This survey is solely focused on improving safety it’s aim is not assess individual or company performance.
The survey takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and needs to be filled out in one session.

Your responses are strictly confidential. All data will be processed exclusively for research purposes under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
No personal or identifiable information will be published or shared outside the scope of this study. Data will be stored securely, anonymized when analysed and deleted once the project concludes.
