DUALEAP, WINNER OF THE INNOVATION PRIZE AT THE EXCELLENCE CLUB AEROSPACE AWARDS

Dualeap is a Toulouse-based start-up that has developed an integrated, innovative solution. Their data compression algorithm combined with on-board hardware and ground software make it possible to transmit aircraft telemetry via satellite at lower cost and, above all, in real time. Dualeap thus offers an innovative solution to optimize aircraft maintenance and safety, and reduce costs for airlines. Dualeap was founded in 2019 by Rufus Stanly. He is accompanied by Ludovic JOAQUIM, the sales director. – Dualeap has just won the 2023 Innovation Award from the Excellence Club Aerospace, a network of aerospace industry professionals. – Dualeap hopes to certify its technology by the end of 2024 and equip aircraft from 2024 onwards. – Dualeap has attracted the interest of several regional airlines and private jets which could benefit from its solution to optimize aircraft maintenance and safety. – The company plans to recruit additional engineers in the coming months, and to raise several million euros in funding this year. This fast-growing start-up offers a breakthrough innovation in aeronautical data transmission. – Dualeap is also working on live transmission of audio and video data from the aircraft to the ground. This would enable aircraft operators to have access to their complete data in real-time during flight, or immediately afterwards. This enhances safety and communication with pilots. – Dualeap plans to adapt its technology to other sectors requiring fast, efficient data transmission, such as space, maritime, rail, automotive and energy.
