Airbus publishes agenda for 2024 Annual General Meeting

Amsterdam, 28 February 2024 – Airbus SE (stock exchange symbol: AIR) has published the agenda for its Annual General Meeting (AGM) taking place on 10 April 2024 in Amsterdam.

Resolutions include the renewal of Chairman René Obermann’s Board Mandate as well as those of fellow non-executive directors Victor Chu, Jean-Pierre Clamadieu and Amparo Moraleda. One resolution proposes the appointment of Dr. Feiyu Xu as a non-executive director, replacing Ralph D. Crosby, Jr., who resigned with effect of the date of the AGM having served on the Board since 2013. Dr. Xu would be appointed for a term of two years, corresponding to the remainder of Mr. Crosby’s mandate.

Dr. Xu is a member of the Supervisory Board of technology company ZF Friedrichshafen AG and a leading expert in the application of artificial intelligence in industry. Thanks to her deep technology knowledge, Dr. Xu will be able to support the Company to strategise the impact of emerging technologies on its business.

Airbus Board mandates are renewed at each AGM in blocks of four for three years, in order to ensure a smooth transition of the Board composition, and that the appropriate skills are retained among the directors. This also avoids large block replacements of directors at any single AGM.

Also on the voting agenda is the proposed payment of a 2023 gross dividend of € 1.80 per share (2022: € 1.80 per share) and a special dividend of € 1.00 per share, as communicated in the Full-Year results disclosure on 15 February.

Documents for the AGM, including the Information Notice with a full agenda, are available online at: https://www.airbus.com/en/investors/annual-general-meetings. The meeting starts at 1.30pm CEST on 10 April 2024.
