Aviator Aiport Alliance (Aviator), a full-range provider of aviation services at 15 airports across the Nordics and part of Avia Solutions Group, has signed a new contract with Wizz Air. The 3-year agreement with Europe’s 3rd largest low-cost carrier covers ground handling and de-icing services at 8 different airports in Norway, and will begin on January 13th, 2026.
The new agreement between Aviator and Wizz Air, who have also previously partnered in Norway, is for ground support services at Ålesund Airport, (AES), Bergen Airport (BGO), Bodø Airport (BOO), Haugesund Airport (HAU), Kristiansand Airport (KRS), Stavanger Airport (SVG), Tromsø Airport (TOS), and Trondheim Airport (TRD). Currently, no flights are planned for Bodø or Kristiansand, however the agreement covers possible services there in the future.
“We are delighted to see Wizz Air becoming our client again in Norway, and we are looking forward to starting this new partnership with the airline. We are excited that Wizz Air has chosen us, and we are looking forward to delivering results and on-time performance for its passengers,” said Peter Stackeryd, Aviator’s Managing Director, Norway.
This latest agreement deepens the relationship between Wizz Air and Aviator in the Nordics. The airline and aviation service provider are already partnered in Denmark, at Copenhagen Airport (CPH), and in Sweden at Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN), Gothenburg Landvetter Airport (GOT), and Malmö Airport (MMX).
“We have successfully partnered with Aviator in Norway before and we are pleased to be reestablishing this partnership. We also currently enjoy close and successful cooperations with Aviator in Denmark and Sweden. Their safety-first approach, high quality levels, and reliability provide the foundation we need to support and further develop our operations across Norway,” stated Kristof Filemon Airport Development Manager at Wizz Air.
Wizz Air, Europe’s 3rd largest low-cost carrier by volume, flew 62.7 million passengers last year. Based in Budapest, Hungary, the airline and its subsidiaries connect customers with destinations across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.
