Air Tech Italy – Italy’s leading association representing the excellence of Italian companies providing airport and aviation solutions worldwide – is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Pier Carlo Aghemo as its new General Director, effective immediately.

Since its establishment, Air Tech Italy has united the nation’s top aviation technology and service providers under one umbrella, promoting Italy’s capabilities in airport innovation, digital transformation, sustainability, and safety.

The association works closely with airports, airlines, and air navigation service providers (ANSPs) across the globe to help them enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency.

With nearly two decades of experience at Accenture, where he served as Senior Principal in Product Engineering Services, Pier Carlo Aghemo brings extensive expertise in managing complex international projects across the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors. Under his leadership, large-scale transformation programs were successfully delivered in the areas of digital aftersales systems, sustainability processes, and technical documentation management for major OEM clients worldwide.

In his new role, Mr. Aghemo will lead the strategic growth and organizational development of Air Tech Italy. His focus will include strengthening partnerships with Italian and international institutions, expanding collaboration across the aviation and technology ecosystems, and positioning Air Tech Italy as a key player in supporting the global modernization of airports and aviation infrastructure.
