SaudiGulf Airlines, the new national carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is founded as a quality service airline and will be the latest addition to the Saudi Arabian aviation sky. Based in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, SaudiGulf Airlines is all set to start scheduled flight operations from September 2016.

SaudiGulf Airlines will have the youngest fleet in the world, with 4 brand new Airbus A320 aircraft all fitted with the latest technology in-flight entertainment systems, and the highest features for comfort and safety.

6 new aircraft will be added to the fleet starting in the second quarter of 2017, with an equivalent number in 2018, reaching a total of 26 aircraft within the next 3 years.

The airline will initially start domestic operations on 1^st September connecting Dammam to Riyadh and Jeddah with up to 4 flights daily. As of October the airline will start flying between Riyadh and Jeddah with up to 7 flights daily. Following which the airline will launch its first international flight to Dubai in the UAE before the end of the year.

Over the coming weeks, technical and operational preparations will continue to prepare for scheduled start of operations and offer the highest levels of service and safety.

SaudiGulf Airlines will offer an all new flying experience both in the air and on the ground. Its service led approach will result in many innovations including a concierge service, wi-fi connectivity on-air, hot meals on board and hollywood blockbusters for the first time in domestic flights on its new Inflight entertainment system.

The new national airline’s website and mobile app will offer easy navigation and unique features. Making bookings and managing flights or checking-in online will be a pleasure. SaudiGulf Club, the airlines’ frequent flyer programme, with its range of elite tiers will offer a rewarding experience to travelers.

Salah Abdel Hadi Al-Qahtani, Vice Chairman
A leader and industrialist, Salah Abdel Hadi Al-Qahtani is the Vice Chairman and one of the main pillars of the Abdel Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani & Sons Group of Companies.

A partner in various successful joint ventures, he is also Member of the Board and Founder of United Gas Technology Co., UAE, Member of the Board of Evolvence Capital Investment Company – Dubai and MerchantBridge & Company, Bankers (UK).

He has also excelled in his role as Board Member of the “Business Owner Union” – Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Industry – Jeddah, Co-Chairman of the Saudi Canadian Business Council and Member of the Executive Committee of several prominent business councils.

 

Samer Majali, President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Majali has a wealth of airline industry experience with successful stints as the Chief Executive Officer of Royal Jordanian Airlines and Gulf Air.

His illustrious career has seen him hold high profile posts and memberships in many prestigious industry associations such as Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society/ UK, Member of the Board – Central Bank of Jordan, Chairman of the Board of Governors – IATA, President – Arab Air Carriers Organization and President – International Flight Catering Association (IFCA).
