Flybondi, Argentina’s first low-cost carrier, has signed agreements with Airbus and Boeing for the acquisition of new factory-fresh aircraft as part of a major fleet expansion. With an approximate investment of USD 1.7 billion, this deal represents the largest fleet expansion in recent years in both Argentina and Paraguay—and one of the most significant in Latin America.
Under the agreement, the airline will incorporate 15 Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with an option for five additional units. This fleet addition will make Flybondi the first operator of this A220 model in Latin America.
In addition, Flybondi will acquire 10 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft, also with options for five more.
Deliveries of the A220-300s are scheduled to begin in 2027 and will continue through 2029. Deliveries of the 737 MAX 10s are planned between 2027 and 2030.
This significant fleet renewal is intended to support Flybondi’s growth in Argentina and to expand its presence in new Latin American and Caribbean markets, using modern, efficient narrow-body aircraft.
