Munich AirportAcademy and Capital Airports Management Academy Beijing sign MoU

The Munich Airport Academy is pleased to announce its collaboration with Capital Airports Management Academy (CAMA) Beijing, the renowned training division of Capital Airports Holding Company, one of China’s largest airport groups. The cooperation was agreed on Wednesday with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in Beijing by Mei Luming, the Party Secretary of CAMA and Fabiola Pfauser, Head of Learning & Development of Munich AirportAcademy.

It represents a significant milestone in the AirportAcademy’s efforts to expand international training alliances across the Asia-Pacific region. The most important objectives are the exchange of expertise in operations, safety, and sustainable processes. Another priority is developing innovative training modules together and strengthening employees’ skills. Exchange between trainers also plays a central role in this project.

In addition, the new partnership focuses on promoting talent by aligning training standards with international best practices and jointly developing the next generation of aviation experts. Another focus is on sustainability and innovation, in line with the priorities of ICAO and ACI.

Both parties have reaffirmed their joint intentions with the MoU and developed a roadmap for test training activities starting in 2026.

Fabiola Pfauser said: “We are excited about this strategic alliance with CAMA. Together, we will advance training standards and contribute to the development of a skilled, sustainable, and innovative workforce across the Asia-Pacific region.”

“With the signing of this MoU between two airport academies, we believe that it will become a great bridge leading the interchange, connection and communication of courses, airport operation experiences, new technologies and human resources of both sides, even for the civil aviation industries of both 2 countries”, explains Mei Luming.

This new partnership builds on the Sister Airport Agreement signed in 2011 between Munich Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) and strengthens the relationship between the two hubs and their training facilities.
