International ground handling, aircraft fuel supply, and logistics service provider Baltic Ground Services (BGS) has announced the extension of its contract with Freebird Airlines, a leisure airline that has both Turkish and Maltese registrations. BGS will continue to supply aviation fuel to Freebird at Tallinn (Estonia), Kaunas (Lithuania), and Ostrava (Czech Republic) airports. The companies have extended their partnership for another year, with the new agreement having entered into force on 1st April 2024.

BGS and Freebird commenced their partnership in 2017 when BGS started providing the airline with into-plane fuelling services at Kaunas Airport. Last year, the companies also signed a 3-year agreement for ground handling services at Vilnius Airport in Lithuania.
Earlier this year, BGS renewed contracts for fuel supply with Wizz Air, Ryanair, and SkyUp Airlines.
