June 2018 – Liebherr-Aerospace will participate in Aviation Electronics Expo (AEE) 2018 which will take place on June 19th and 20th at the MOC Event Center in Munich (Germany). The system supplier offers stand-alone electronics to the aviation market.
At its booth no. B8 in Hall 1, Liebherr-Aerospace will showcase various examples of its innovative electronics units for aircraft application.
For over 30 years, more than 20,000 electronic units designed and manufactured by Liebherr have demonstrated their outstanding in-service robustness, reliability and performance on board commercial and military aircraft, helicopters as well as business jets in ATA chapters such as ATA 21, 30, 36 (air management, ice protection, pneumatics), ATA 24 (electrical power), ATA 27 (flight controls), and ATA 32 (landing gear).
Liebherr supplies these electronic units with embedded software, both as standalone units, or as part of the company’s air management, flight control and landing gear systems. In terms of hardware development, qualification and production for signal and power circuits, Liebherr-Aerospace benefits from the Liebherr Group’s competence center for electronics in Lindau (Germany).
Based on its expertise gained, Liebherr-Aerospace has decided to offer the aviation market on-board electronics as stand-alone devices for a wide range of projects, such as new aircraft programs, obsolescence management, mid-life up-grades, change in system architecture, derivative and missionized aircraft.
Nicolas Bonleux, Managing Director & Chief Sales Officer, Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS explains: “AEE is the perfect platform to display our latest electronic technologies. We can present our capabilities that we have developed to meet the market’s requirements and to enable manufacturers to build the aircraft of tomorrow.”
