Russian Helicopters to participate in the International military-technical forum «ARMY-2017»

The Russian Helicopters holding (part of Rostec State Corporation) will demonstrate a wide range of military helicopters at the International military- technical forum “ARMY-2017” that will take place in the congress exhibition center “Patriot” in the city of Kubinka from August 22 to August 27.

As part of the exhibition, the holding will present its products  for the first time at the permanent exposition of Russian Helicopters with the total area of about 400 square meters organized within the framework of the demo center of Rostec State Corporation. There will be models of the helicopters Mi-26T2, Мi-28NE, Мi-38, Ка-52К, Ansat, Мi-8АМТSh-VА, Мi-35М, and the VRT30 unmanned convertiplane at the stall of the holding.

Full-scale samples of the equipment produced by the holding will be exhibited at the static exposition of the Patriot center. Participants and visitors of the exhibition will be able to look at the Mi-38, Mi-17V-5, Ansat, Mi-35M, Mi-28NE, and Ka-52K helicopters.

Moreover, in the closed access demonstration zone the Russian Helicopters holding will present the latest military transport helicopter Mi-8AMTSh-V for the first time, modernized in accordance with the experience of helicopters use in Syria. Mi-8AMTSh-V is promoted as multifunctional and can execute a wide range of tasks: from transportation and landing to fire support of special forces.

“At the Army-2017 forum the holding is presenting the newest line of military helicopters for potential operators from the Russian and foreign security services. At this venue we will be able to discuss with our colleague from the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation all the issues of existing contracts implementation and the possibilities of drawing up new ones. Besides, military institutions of our foreign partners will be widely represented at the forum,” stresses Andrey Boginsky, Director General of the Russian Helicopters holding.

The management and the experts will hold a range of meetings and talks at the Army-2017 with Russian and foreign helicopter operators. They will discuss, in particular, the prospects of supplying multirole helicopters for the armed forces of the CSTO countries. The signing of several agreements is also planned, including with the Ministry of Defence of the RF and with Russian weapon and military equipment manufacturers.

JSC Russian Helicopters (part of Rostec State Corporation), is one of the world leaders in helicopter industry, the only developer and manufacturer of helicopters in Russia. The holding company was established in 2007. The head office is located in Moscow. The holding company is comprised of five helicopter plants, two design bureaus, enterprises for production and maintenance of components, aircraft repair plants and a service company providing after-sales support in Russia and abroad. Among the buyers of the holding company’s products are Defense Ministry of Russia, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, EMERCOM of Russia, and other state customers, Gazprom Avia and UTair airlines, as well as major Russian and foreign companies. In 2016, the revenue of Russian Helicopters under IFRS amounted to RUB 214.3 billion, its shipments totaled to 189 helicopters.
