Le Conseil d'administration d'EADS a nommé Bodo Uebber comme nouveau Président. M. Uebber, déjà administrateur d'EADS depuis 2007, succède dans ses fonctions de Président à Rüdiger Grube avec effet au 14 Avril 2009. M. Grube a démissionné de son mandat après avoir été nommé CEO de la Deutsche Bahn.
M. Bodo Uebber, nommé Président du Conseil d’Administration d’EADS, est membre du Directoire de Daimler AG depuis 2004. Il est actuellement responsable de la finance, du contrôle de gestion et des approvisionnements Groupe et de Daimler Financial Services. En 2001, il est nommé membre du Directoire et Directeur Financier de Daimler Financial Services AG, et occupe à partir de 2003 les fonctions de Président du Directoire de Daimler Financial Services AG ainsi que de membre suppléant du Directoire de Daimler AG. Il a occupé avant cette date divers postes relatifs à la finance au sein de DASA AG, Dornier Luftfahrt et MTU Aero Engines GmbH. M. Industry veteran Tim Ulles has been named General Manager of the company’s gas turbine engine repair and maintenance operation near Atlanta.
“Tim is a seasoned business leader with many years of financial and aerospace industry experience, and he will help to further build and strengthen Chromalloy’s Newnan, Ga., operation,” said Mike Beffel, Vice President, Operations.
The Chromalloy facility in Newnan provides gas turbine engine repairs, repair development, overhaul, manufacturing and coatings for a wide range of turbine engine models. For fleet operators, the operation helps them to reduce maintenance cost through Designated Engineering Representative (DER) repair products, FAA Approved Replacement Parts, and rotable pool programs.
Ulles previously was Division Manager at Barnes Aerospace in the company’s Windsor OEM Division, in Windsor, Conn., where he had profit and loss responsibility for aircraft, military tank and power generation engines parts manufacturing. He entered Barnes Aerospace Windsor Division as Controller of that operation.
Earlier in his career Ulles was the Director of Finance/Commercial Director of MacDermid Graphic Arts, Inc., and prior to that was the Controller at General Datacomm Industries Inc. in a number of capacities. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and a Master of Science degree in financial management, both from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn.

The Board of BAE Systems plc has appointed Ravi Uppal as a non-executive Director of the Company, with effect from 2 April 2008.
Ravi Uppal is President, Global Markets, for the power and automation technology group ABB Limited, where he is also a member of the Group Executive Committee. Based in Zurich, he is responsible for ABB’s marketing and business development worldwide.
Welcoming the new non-executive Director’s appointment, Dick Olver, Chairman of BAE Systems said: “Ravi has first hand experience of managing engineering and technology businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. As we look to expand our global footprint, his appointment will further broaden the experience and knowledge within the Board.”
