Ach Hambourg Fluggesellschaft
Fly with ACH HAMBURG safely and comfortably to more than 3,000 European airfields in direct proximity to your chosen destination. You will find your "private jet" for this trip under the heading aircraft. Have a weekend in fashionable St.Moritz. A visit to a formula 1 racing event. A day trip to St.Petersburg. Charter aircraft take off, whenever the clients require them to do so- if appointments at the destination take longer (or shorter) — the passengers may always contact the flight crew via mobile telephone requesting a change. They will change departure times in accordance with such a request. However, the authorities have to approve such a change since there may be an overload of traffic at the changed time of departure at the airport (slot) and for overflights en route.

Air Malawi
Air Malawi airliner Air Malawi Ltd, a company with a registered office at Robins Road in Blantyre, Malawi was established by an Act of Parliament in 1967 following the dissolution of the Central African Airways which comprised of Northern and Southern Rhodesia. Central African Airways through this development split into Zambia Airways, Air Zimbabwe and Nyasaland (Air Malawi). It's fleet then consisted of two Vickers Viscounts, one Dakota DC3 and one Beechcraft Baron. Later a further DC3 and two twin turboprop Hawker Siddley 748s were acquired in 1970. The Beechcraft Baron was replaced by two Britten Norman Islanders in the subsequent year. In the same year, a BAC1-11/200 was leased for regional services. In February 1972 an additional BAC1-11/475 series aircraft was acquired. The airline took a major step in December 1974 when it introduced direct services between Blantyre, Malawi and London Gatwick using a newly purchased VC10 aircraft. However this service was uneconomic in the face of competition from new generation wide-bodies jets and it was discontinued in 1979. For the twenty years until 1992 the BACs and the HS formed the mainstay of the fleet for the domestic and regional services. In common with all other airlines on the African continent, Air Malawi experienced increasing commercial pressure for modern technologically advanced and fuel efficient aircraft. This economical factor dictated the replacement of the aged fleet by a B737-300 (May 1991), an ATR42 (December 1991) and Dornier 228 (December 1993) and 2 Cessna Caravan aircraft. The Dornier 228 was also disposed of.

Buddha Air is the first and only airline in Nepal to operate brand new, straight-out-of-the-factory, currently in production pressurized aircraft. The main emphasis of the company has been to operate these aircrafts safely and with maximum comfort to the passengers. To maintain the impeccable safety record of the company, BA operates in only six fully navigational aid equipped asphalt airports with more than 3700 feet runway length and end all flights at TIA, Kathmandu. The minimum cruising altitude for all BA flight is 16,000 feet because the tallest hills are not more than 10,000 feet on the flight path to these airports. BA has not operated to remote/hilly STOL and unpaved airfields, which have ill-equipped navigational aid and have unpredictable weather. BA has invested heavily in maintaining the safety of the aircraft. Funds are readily available to the engineering department to purchase any spares that is deemed necessary. One time additional investment of about US$ 250,000 to fulfill the requirements of the COSCAP - South Asia audit has been made. BA has invested in all time bound rotable spares including an extra engine, propellers and landing gears. All BA pilots have flown to and fro from six airports thousands of times. Although many new airlines have started in Nepal and the human resource turnover has been very high, BA has preserved to retain the initial commanders through job satisfaction thus maintaining high safety standards of flight operation. The pilots are under strict instructions to maintain the highest level of safety even at the cost of aborting or canceling flights. BA has been successful in achieving an insurance claim free operation during its four-year operation history.

European Air Express

Garuda Indonesia
The history of Garuda Indonesia is closely connected to the history of the nation and the struggle for independence. Garuda Indonesia began its first commercial services under the name "Indonesian Airways". It was during a time of change and upheaval for the country, which was struggling to maintain its independence. The company's first aircraft, a DC3 named Seulawah (Gold Mountain) was donated by the people of Aceh to help in the campaign for independence, and it played a vital role in the struggle. More recently, Garuda, along with the country as a whole, has undergone a period of dynamic change. Garuda has continued its effort to improve its services and to provide safe comfortable and reliable air transportation services. Through those efforts, Garuda Indonesia has now succeeded in improving its performance in the areas of on-time departures, load factors and yield, and the company recently returned to a position of cash flow and operating profit. Garuda also realizes that the business challenges of the future will be increasingly complex and difficult. Consequently, Garuda is determined to improve its quality in all aspects of the company's activities, and to prepare for privatization which will be realized in the near future. Through these efforts it is our sincere hope that Garuda will remain a source of great national pride for Indonesia, and that we will continue to be one of Asia's most respected airlines.

At Kenya Airways we believe that the future begins today. Success in our business, as indeed in any business, begins with a clear picture of what it is we desire most, that is, the vision. An important consistent trend about commercial aviation is that it is a fiercely competitive and highly volatile industry, in which fortunes shift continuously. As the drive towards a free, converging and global market gathers momentum, competition within the airline industry is expected to intensify. Increasingly open skies are likely to impact on yields, and extraordinary profits will increasingly be an exception.

The agreement, in which the United Arab Emirates airline took a 40% shareholding in the company, was the regenerative boost that was urgently needed to re-establish Air Lanka as southern Asia’s preferred international carrier. This was crucial as throughout the previous decade investment had been minimal - a factor that had retarded growth and taken away the airline’s competitive edge.
